EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- A strong work ethic and reliability are a must.
- Strong communication, proactive problem-solving and analytical skills required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word.
- Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
- Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.

DUTIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Allocating insurance payments to patients claims
- Allocating patient payments to accounts
- Processing credit card payments accordingly.
- Reconciliation of payments day to day, month-end.
- Troubleshooting incorrect payments and assigning to AR team.
- Troubleshooting payment errors and make corrections
- Field inbound patient calls
- Supporting other team members
- Other tasks assigned by Billing Supervisor or Manager

Work Environment:
- This job operates in an outpatient clinic environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Regularly required to talk or hear with use of phone
- Occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
